So, I’ve had two website ideas I’ve really liked so far. I threw them over to Joan, and he’s also enthusiastic and says they’re very doable!
Here are my sketches. The links and logo don’t reflect the final product; just ideas so far.
The links would sit in the clouds, with the logo set behind them. The city skyline creates the screen’s bottom border. The center is, of course, the body of the page.
Here’s the second idea, which seems to be getting better feedback so far.
The buildings would form the links at the bottom of the screen. When you click on a link, that building’s lights turn on.
Joan and I are working on two more design ideas – sleeker, simpler, less cartoony. We’ll have these two and those two (These Two and Those Two should be a band) on the Facebook group page and this blog soon for comments and voting! We’re excited to hear your feedback.
If you have comments on those above designs, feel free to go ahead and post them.
About “The Music” on the website – don’t worry, we’re still limiting this section of the website to certain cafes. The rest of the website will be promotional – it’ll be accessible to the internet, so people know what they can find on the library and where they can hear it!
